Our mission is to provide actors of all experience levels a safe place to grow and strengthen their performing skills. We also encourage participants to become involved in all aspects of ATC, including assisting students with auditioning for shows, volunteering behind the scenes, and finding opportunities with other organizations in the Columbus theatre community.
Performance at 7:30pm on June 17 in Schiller Park, Grades 4-8 - Campers will create and perform a short play, as well as rehearse scripted scenes and monologues and experience improv, theatre games, and more. The camp will culminate in a 7:30pm performance on Friday night on the Schiller Park Amphitheatre stage prior to the Actors' Theatre of Columbus production of Othello.

Students will create and perform a short play, as well as experience improv, theatre games, miming and movement, and more. Any skill level is welcome! This class is in association with The Globe School at Actors’ Theatre of Columbus and is taught by professional actor and director, Andy Falter. Class concludes with a performance for family and friends on April 16 at 2:30pm. (Outdoors if weather permits; classes and performance will be indoors at the Schiller Rec Center unless weather is too amazing.)

Actors of all levels are invited! Each week will focus on a different theme. Graduates of the class will perform through the summer on Sunday evenings as a teaching tool and performance opportunity for all. All classes will feature performance games and acting exercises designed to help actors of all levels. Starting June 12 and throughout the season, some or all of the class will present scenes, select monologues, improv games and class created scenes. (Additional rehearsals may be needed.)
